New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) presidential aspirant, Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen is very optimistic about winning more votes from his party in the Volta Region if giving the nod to lead the party in the 2024 election.
To him, the NPP can only ‘Break the 8’ with him as a flagbearer.
Appearing on Radio Tamale on Wednesday (23 February), Kyerematen said he can work magic for the party in both Ashanti and Volta regions to secure victory for the NPP.
“Even in the Volta Region, they keep on saying we’re not against the NPP but if you bring Alan Kyerematen as flagbearer the Volta Region will change,” he said.
“I am confident that if I become the flagbearer, I will be able to garner 80% of votes in the Ashanti Region or two million votes.
“We cannot risk not having the opportunity to present a leader who can guarantee maximum votes from the Ashanti Region, and at the same time by the invisible hand of God I also happen to have the capacity to influence votes in the Volta Region,” Kyerematen said.
