Former NSA Deputy Director Gifty Oware-Mensah was released by the National Investigations Bureau (NIB) after being questioned about the ghost names scandal. 

She is expected to be recalled for further questioning.

Gifty Oware-Mensah, who played a key role in the administration and financial oversight of the Scheme, has yet to issue a public statement regarding the matter.
