The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has today Monday, September 9, 2024, submitted his nomination forms at the headquarters of the Electoral Commission (EC) in his bid to be president.
His wife Samira Bawumia, his running mate Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh and his wife Alma Pokua Adade-Prempeh among other party members accompanied him for the process.
Also, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), John Dramani Mahama, is expected to file his nomination later in the day.
Nana Kwame Bediako 'Cheddar', leader of the New Force Movement, has also submitted his nomination forms earlier today.
