Ghana’s embassy in the US is to be reopened on May 29, old staff recalled, new team sent to monitor operations

The Embassy of Ghana in Washington DC will reopen on May 29, 2025, following the recall of staff and suspension of local staff.

A new team of diplomats from Accra has been deployed to reorganize operations and restore order to the Embassy’s online platforms.
