The ‘mighty’ minority has blocked the arrest of its member Rev. John Ntim Fordjour after NIB officials besieged his residence to arrest him.
The incident follows Fordjour’s claims of suspicious flights at Kotoka International Airport allegedly carrying drugs and money.
The minority led by its leader Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin said “We are ready to cooperate with the government but we cannot be intimidated by their actions.”
He told the media a moment after the NIB officers left the MP for Assin South residence that "Ntim Fordjour is not alone, we are with him"."
The arrest is related to his recent allegations of cocaine smuggling and money laundering involving two flights at Kotoka International Airport.
