KNUST's Daniel Tuffour remanded again for allegedly 'killing' female student

Daniel Tuffour, a KNUST student, has been remanded for the second time in connection with the murder of Joana Deladem Yabani

The case has been adjourned until April 1, 2025, awaiting advice from the Attorney General.

Yabani’s lifeless body was discovered on the university’s campus on February 27, 2025.

Tuffour was arrested hours after the incident and made his first court appearance, where he was remanded into custody.

At his second court hearing today March 17, 2025, the prosecution informed the court that the case docket had been forwarded to the Attorney General’s office for advice.

The prosecution requested that Tuffour remain in custody while awaiting the Attorney General’s directive, a request the court granted.
