President Mahama has appointed new heads for the Ghana Prisons Service, Ghana National Fire Service, and Ghana Immigration Service, following the appointment of a new Inspector-General of Police.
These appointments, made in accordance with the 1992 Constitution, signal a renewed vision for modernizing and strengthening Ghana’s security services.
The new leaders are expected to address key challenges within their institutions, including prison overcrowding, fire safety, and border security.
