The Chief Imam Dr Nuhu Sharubutu on Friday commissioned the renovated Kumasi Central Mosque.
The ceremony was attended by dignitaries including Vice-President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife Samira Bawumia as well as the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
The Asantehene urged the Muslim leadership to maintain eternal vigilance on the project, both through prayer and the effort of humankind as well as maintaining the peace and harmony of the country.
